Message Center

This page covers the EasyAdminBlazor message center: in-app messages, system notifications and real-time unread reminders.

Overview

  • In-app messages: admins can send messages to specific users, with title, body and replies.
  • System notifications: business code can push system notifications to users through the message service.
  • Real-time reminders: pushed over SignalR (NotificationHub); the unread badge updates instantly without refreshing the page.
  • Read state: messages are tracked as unread/read, and the badge decreases as they are opened or marked.
  • Message management: the message center page supports listing, composing, replying and deleting messages.

Usage

1. Open the message center

Admin menu Message Center (path Admin/Message).

2. Send an in-app message

Click Compose → choose recipients → fill in the subject and body → click Send.

3. View and reply

Click a message in the list to view details and reply directly. Opening an unread message marks it as read and refreshes the badge.

4. Push notifications from business code

Send system notifications through the framework's message service; the badge and message list update automatically via SignalR — no polling.

Interface Description

  • Top message entry: shows the unread badge and a popup for quick access to unread/read messages.
  • Message list: inbox/outbox views with search and delete.
  • Compose dialog: pick recipients, write the subject and body, then send.
  • SysMessage: message entity
  • SysMessageUser: message-to-user relation (unread/read state)
  • NotificationHub: SignalR real-time push
  • AdminMessageService: message sending and push service

Notes

  • Message bodies are XSS-sanitized before rendering.
  • Push works without Redis; with Redis configured, messages can be persisted.
