Theme Colors

This page covers theme color switching in EasyAdminBlazor: five preset primary colors, instant effect and automatic persistence.

Overview

  • Five preset primary colors: Classic Blue, Fresh Green, Elegant Purple, Vibrant Orange and China Red.
  • Instant effect: after switching, buttons, menus, tabs, form focus and other components follow the new color immediately.
  • Remembered: the choice is stored in browser localStorage, so it is restored on the next visit.
  • Configurable default: set EasyAdminBlazorOptions.DefaultThemeColor to a preset color name or a hex value.
  • Login page aware: a theme color switched in the admin UI also applies to the login page.

Usage

1. Switch the theme color

Sign in to the admin UI and open the theme color panel in the top toolbar, then pick a primary color.

2. Configure the default color

3. Persistence

The user's choice lives in browser localStorage per browser/device; the server only provides the default.

  • Affected components: buttons, links, selected menu items, tabs, form focus and other primary-color elements.

FAQ

I changed the color but the page did not change?

Try clearing the browser cache or using a private window; DefaultThemeColor only applies when the user has no saved local choice.

I want to rebrand for a client project?

Just set DefaultThemeColor to the client's brand color — no component style changes needed.
